Manassero Insurance was started by Amador County native John Manassero and his wife Irma in 1946. John was actively involved in many organizations in Jackson and Amdor County.

In 1970, After 36 years of service to the community, John and Irma sold Manassero Insurance to their son, Robert.

John currently resides in the community he grew up in.

Manassero Insurance was voted "Best of Amador" in 2003 and agin in 2005.
